Comic strip: Trim-Strips

Trim-Strips

Initial-Panel: specialist
Our boss is a specialist for unconventional underground parkings.
Really? What's so special about it?
The ramp is better off with round transitions at the beginning and the end, so that no car hits the ground. Yet our boss does it differently...
Now look here: long vehicles hit the ground at the edgy transition, striking sparks even TWICE!
BING
BANG
The ramp is better off with a well dimensioned drainage at the door - or else...
...the rainwater gets stowed at the door and enters the garage - as it did during last night's tempest.
The parking levels are better off sloping down to the center where the drainage is. However, if the parking level is sloped to one side as our boss prefers...
...the drainage be better there, too.
Could you get me a submersible pump?
BLUB
The ramp is better off with upstands on both sides, so that the wheels keep the car's body from touching the wall.
You may omit such upstands on a straight ramp. But look at this curved ramp that leads the car to a collision with the wall when frozen over.
the red trim strip here is from our boss' BMW!
